MERGER ARBITRAGE Our client, a hedge fund, is seeking an analyst with experience ranging from 2 to 4 years in Merger Arbitrage, or as an analyst in an investment banking department. As the firm maintains a comparatively small team and manages substantial assets, exposure to the portfolio manager and decision making process would be continuous. The successful candidate will have the educational background and presence appropriate for client meetings and exposure to corporate officials. PORTFOLIO HEDGING A well capitalized multi-strategy Hedge Fund, our client is seeking a trader with experience trading derivatives and at least one year of working knowledge of European markets. The successful candidate will train extensively in New York and then move to London to oversee the firm’s portfolio hedging activities there. Our client, a broker-dealer in the mid-west is seeking a CFO. The successful candidate will plan, direct, coordinate and monitor the financial activities of the company. CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER He/she will be an active member of the leadership team, assisting in the setting of strategic plans and vision for the business unit, while developing, implementing and monitoring operational plans, goals and objectives. The CFO will design, recommend and maintain effective and efficient policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) regulations, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations and company guidelines. He/she will direct the preparation of reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses and earnings based on past, present and expected operations. He/she will also be responsible for internal and external financial reporting for the company and its affiliates and subsidiaries. Requirements include a minimum of ten years comprehensive financial experience and at least 5 years of managerial experience. Significant experience and responsibility in financial and regulatory reporting for a broker-dealer is also required.
BRANCH MANAGERS Our clients have retained us to find successful experienced producing and non-producing branch managers with strong knowledge of a wide variety of fee-based and traditional private client services as well as an effective sales leadership style. Good recruiting, strong internal audit ratings and an untainted CRD are pluses. Positions are available in New York, the New England region, California and Texas. |
